Aug. 10

Community Night of Peace

• A Community Night of Peace will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m., at the Morgan Hill at the Community Cultural Center Amphitheater. The night has been on the calendar since last year, and with the recent shooting at the Ford Store and the Garlic Festival, it’s even more poignant now to come together. Garlic City Car Show

• The annual Garlic City Car Show event held in downtown Gilroy brings in hundreds of the area’s finest classic cars, muscle cars, hot rods, and customs. This year “My Classic Car” with Dennis Gage will be filming for their television show.
