Celebrate Life: John B. Perez III – May 4, 1980 — August 3, 2019

John Perez

John B. Perez III passed suddenly Saturday, August 3, 2019. He is the son of Dr. John B. and Rachel I. Perez of Gilroy.  Brother of Almendra and Ursula Perez both of Gilroy. The grandson of the late Eusebio and Concepcion Perez and John and Jessie Ibarra. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. A native of Gilroy, he was 39 years old.

John graduated from Gilroy High School (Class of 1998). He attended Gavilan College and graduated from San Jose State University. He was a long-time employee of Kelly-Moore Paints.  Recently joined  McLaughlin Painting, in Morgan Hill. John enjoyed golfing, comedy shows, barbecues, sports and hanging with his friends.

A vigil was held Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019 at St. Mary Church, Gilroy.  Funeral Mass was celebrated the following day, Friday, Aug. 9., at St. Mary Church.  Burial followed at St. Mary Cemetery, Gilroy. The family would appreciate donations to St. Joseph’s Family Center, Gilroy, The Edward “Boss” Prado Foundation, Morgan Hill or the Gilroy Compassion Center.
