Mark your calendar for May 20 to spend the day in Downtown Gilroy. Starting at 9:00 a.m. there will be a Ribbon Cutting for the Paseo. The panels are up and sponsor bricks are installed. Come celebrate the ceremonial Grand Opening of Gilroy’s first Paseo with the Paseo Committee leaders former Mayor Al Pinheiro and Joan Buchanan, the city of Gilroy and the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce.

Afterward, stroll through downtown and discover shops that you might not have realized are in downtown. Then from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. the Gilroy Downtown Business Association and the Gilroy Arts Alliance are hosting the ever popular annual Gilroy Art and Wine Stroll. Enjoy wines from our excellent local wineries that are paired up with local downtown businesses.

You are sure to encounter many friends and family as you stroll through downtown Gilroy. The Gilroy Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Non-Profit Expo, during the Art and Wine Stroll, so make a point to stop by and visit 30 local non-profits. Learn about all the good these non-profits do for our local citizens. Tickets for the Arts and Wine Stroll can be purchased at the Gilroy Welcome Center or the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce as well as online through Eventbrite. Tickets are $30 each.
