Garlic City Casino recently moved to its new location at 8630 San Ysidro Ave., Suite #100. They are now located next to the Gilroy Premium Outlets. Prior to opening, the new location underwent a complete remodel. It is classy, spacious, welcoming. Garlic City Casino is open 24 hours and the staff is very friendly. The casino features Baccarat, Texas Hold’em Poker, California 21 Black Jack, Three Card Poker and Pai Gow as well as tournaments. The restaurant is also open 24 hours and the menu features American, Mexican and Asian dishes. The restaurant is rapidly becoming known for its great food. T & H Pools has had a change in management, well, sort of. The reins of the company have been handed to Anne Holdaway. Anne is the wife of Dave Holdaway, who is one of the original founders of T & H Pools in 1997 along with Bill Tomlin Servicing Morgan Hill, San Martin, Gilroy and Hollister areas. They provide pool cleaning services and repair and installations of swimming pool equipment. With factory-trained technicians, they repair equipment in a professional manor. They are a fully licensed, insured and Bonded California Contractor. Being a warranty station for most manufacturers of pool equipment the company has grown into the largest equipment repair facility in South County. CIEL (Create Inspire Enrich Learn) at 7680 Monterey St., #102 is celebrating its grand opening throughout June. Maureen Miner, M.D. will be the guest speaker Saturday, May 20 at 11:30 am when the American Association of University Women (AAUW) hold their membership lunch at the West Side Grill. Dr. Miner practices at South County Pain and Rehabilitation in Gilroy. She will speak about chronic pain management and brain/spinal cord injuries.
