CARAS Tamale Festival

  • The 4th Annual CARAS Tamale Festival takes place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. between Third and Seventh streets in downtown Gilroy. They will have a kids zone, car show, food vendors, resource tables, arts and crafts vendors and two stages with music in English and Spanish. This is a family-friendly event. Join them for a day full of fun activities for the whole family.

Ducky Derby

  • Want to race a duck or cheer your favorite team? Attend the 8th Annual Duckie Derby Paddle Boat Races from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Gilroy Gardens Paddle Boat Dock. Race to win, race for fun, or come to enjoy music and win great prizes. Admission is a $5 donation to Leadership Gilroy and includes limited entrance to Gilroy Gardens at 2 p.m., and five raffle tickets to bet on races. Spaghetti Dinner

  • St. Mary School’s Annual Fall Spaghetti Dinner will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at the school. Take-out orders begin at 4:30 p.m. and end at 8:30 p.m. Enjoy dining in the gym or picnic-style out on the field with live DJ music, or take advantage of the take-out service. Dinner includes spaghetti with meat sauce, salad, garlic bread, dessert, punch, coffee and wine.
