Friday Night Music Series in Morgan Hill set to return in late summer

Morgan Hill Chamber celebrates cultural diversity of South Valley with performances from a different cultural group each evening

South Valley residents are excited about the return of the Friday Night Music Series in downtown Morgan Hill.

“At this point, I would go to hear an 8-year old practice the flute!”

“Bring back the live music! Our souls are begging to dance again!”

These are just two of the comments the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce received from a survey to gauge the interest of local people in supporting the return of the popular series.

The series will take place Friday nights from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at the Morgan Hill Downtown Amphitheater beginning Aug. 6 and ending Oct. 8. The event is free and this year’s lineup will feature fan favorites as well as a few newcomers that were requested by the community.

This year the chamber is celebrating the cultural diversity of South Valley by securing a performance from a different cultural group each evening from 6 to 6:30 p.m. To receive updates on the series follow Facebook @Morgan Hill Friday Night Music Series.

“We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the FNMS to dance the night away under the lights to the best live music in South Valley,” said Chamber CEO/President Brittney Sherman.
