Line Dancing

Grief Counseling
• The Visiting Nurses Association Hospice support group helps people deal with emotions that come from losing a loved one. Meets 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the San Martin Presbyterian Church, 13200 Lincoln Ave. Details: (831) 236-1015.

Lions Club Morgan Hill
• The Lions Club meets at Mama Mia’s, 275 E. Dunne Ave., at 7 p.m. They focus on programs and services for the blind and visually impaired, and many other local programs. Details: (408) 723-1018.

Bingo
• Play Bingo at the Community Center, 17000 Monterey Road. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Games start at 6:30 p.m.

First, Third Tuesdays

San Martin Lions Club
• Meetings are at 7 p.m. virtually and occasionally onsite at 12415 Murphy Ave. They support local and global activities. Details: [email protected].

Tuesday and Thursday

Historical Museum Open
• The Gilroy Historical Museum, 195 Fifth St., is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Wednesdays

Wind Symphony Meets
• The Morgan Hill Wind Symphony meets from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., at Grace Hill Church, 16970 DeWitt Ave., Morgan Hill. Bring your instrument and join the group. Details: www.mhws.org.

First Wednesday

Flower Lovers Meet
• The Morgan Hill Flower Lovers is having an open invitation for potential members interested in perfecting their knowledge of gardening. They meet at 12:30 p.m. at the Community & Cultural Center, 17000 Monterey Road.

Second Wednesday

South Valley Wood Workers

Thursdays

Duplicate Bridge

Grief Support Group
• This monthly Bible-based meeting supports parents who have lost a child of any age. This group meets from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Email [email protected] for location and more information.

Third Thursday

Women in Touch ll

Horsemen Meet

Saturdays

Running Group, Club Run
• The South Valley Running Club is hosting a group run at 8 a.m. Various distances. All levels are welcome. Membership is not required. Details: www.svrchome.org.

Morning Bike Ride
• Weekly co-ed, no-drop ride averaging 25 miles. Meet at Bike Therapy, 17540 Depot St. at 7:30 a.m. in Morgan Hill. Road bike and drop handlebars required.

Farmers’ Market
• The Morgan Hill Certified Farmers’ Market brings together farmers, food producers and consumers from Morgan Hill, Gilroy, and Hollister from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Third and Depot streets in downtown. Now year-round, a family-friendly Kids Craft event was added with fun educational projects to delight all ages. Parking is available at the Caltrain depot, accessed via Butterfield Boulevard.

First, Second Saturdays

Gilroy Museum
• The Gilroy Museum has added hours and is now open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

June 4

Meet the Author
• Meet author of “High Water” Patty Flores Reinhart at 4 p.m. at BookSmart, 421 Vineyard Town Center. Part memoir, part fiction, the book is the coming-of-age story of a young American woman, discovering herself and finding her future among the haunting waterways of Venice, Italy.

Summer Book Sale
• The Friends of the Morgan Hill Library will hold its summer book sale at the library, 660 W Main Ave. The sale takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All books are $1 or less; children’s books are 10 cents each. FMHL members are admitted at 9 a.m. before the sale opens to the public. (Memberships are available for purchase at the door.) All proceeds benefit the library.

June 5

Stories from the Past
• Morgan Hill Historical Society presents its latest “Stories from the Past” documentary film from 3 to 5 p.m. Screening and reception at the Morgan Hill Community Playhouse, 17000 Monterey Road. Admission is free, seating is first come, first served.

June 7

History Makers
• See “History Makers,” an official selection of this year’s Poppy Jasper International Film Festival, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Morgan Hill Community Playhouse, 17090 Monterey Road. The documentary film features the preservation of Villa Mira Monte, including the 1884 home built by the city’s namesake, Hiram Morgan Hill. Tickets are available at pjiff.org.

June 11

Hunting Hollow 5K/10K Run/Walk
• The Hunting Hollow 5K/10K Fun Run and Walk is sponsored by The Pine Ridge Association and put on by Henry Coe Park volunteers. It takes place at 9 a.m. in the Hunting Hollow area of Henry W. Coe State Park, located at the Hunting Hollow part entrance on Gilroy Hot Springs Road. All proceeds will fund community programs and events at Henry W. Coe Park.
