I would be grateful to have the honor and privilege to represent you on the Santa  Clara County Board of Education.

I’ve lived in Santa Clara County for more than 27 years, with 23 years in the same  neighborhood. I deeply care about making our children, educators, families,  neighborhoods and communities stronger, to be ready to face future challenges.

I serve as a commissioner on the Santa Clara County Health Advisory  Commission, serving on ad-hoc committees covering chronic and infectious  diseases, with a special focus on physical and mental well-being of our children.

As a member of the Santa Clara County Board of Education, I’ll be a passionate  champion for justice, equity, inclusivity, and strong collaboration with  stakeholders across all aspects of public education — ensuring high-quality  learning systems for our students.

With an MBA from the University of Chicago, I have worked professionally for a  decade as a recognized researcher and economist. While my public policy and  advocacy efforts span locally, statewide, and abroad, my service to our  community begins with my family. I have been an active and dedicated school  volunteer from preschool to college.

A passionate advocate for our children for over two decades, I have led research, funding, and advocacy efforts at county and federal levels in support of our children and our communities.

I serve on two nonprofit boards where I  champion health for children and families, and on the Family Leadership Council, supporting a mission to develop socially responsible and engaged students.

I’m proud to be endorsed by the President of the Santa Clara Board of  Education, Peter Ortiz; Trustee Claudia Rossi who I hope to succeed; the  California Teachers Association; Sen. Dave Cortese; county supervisors Cindy Chavez, Susan Ellenberg, and Otto Lee; Gilroy Councilmember Zach  Hilton; and many trustees across the South Bay.
