Line Dancing

Lions Club Morgan Hill

Bingo
• At the Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center, 17000 Monterey Road. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., games start at 6:30 p.m.

Meditation, Yoga Sutra Study
• Join others for a time of meditation and inspiration from the Yoga Sutras, a foundational yoga and meditation text, from 1 to 2 p.m., at 8347 Church St. New and experienced students welcome. Wind Symphony Meets

Morning Bike Ride
• Weekly co-ed, no-drop ride averaging 25 miles. Meet at Bike Therapy, 17540 Depot St. at 7:30 a.m. in Morgan Hill. Road bike and drop handlebars required.

Farmers’ Market
• The Morgan Hill Certified Farmers’ Market brings together farmers, food producers and consumers from Morgan Hill, Gilroy, and Hollister from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Third and Depot streets. A family-friendly Kids Craft is included with fun educational projects to delight all ages. Parking is available at the Caltrain depot, accessed via Butterfield Boulevard.

Gilroy Museum
• The Gilroy Museum has added hours and is now open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Second Saturday

Daughters of the Amer. Revolution
• Members from Hollister, Gilroy, San Juan Bautista and Morgan Hill meet at 10 a.m. (through May). The DAR is a nonprofit, nonpolitical women’s volunteer service organization dedicated to promoting historic preservation, education and patriotism. Visit them at www.gilroy.californiadar.org. Downtown Walking Tours

‘Young Artist Exhibit’
• The Gilroy Center for the Arts is having a special exhibit called “Young Artist Exhibit” that features students of local artist and teacher Diane Wallace. After many years as an artist and teacher, Diane’s website (dianewallaceart.com) makes it possible to share some of her favorite paintings and those of her students, who range in age from five to well past retirement. The center will award one student a $25 Michaels Gift Card when visitors come in to vote for their favorite piece. The closing reception will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. April 29.

April 15

Garlic Bread Sale
• Volunteer chefs will be churning out Gilroy Garlic Festival-style garlic bread all day at the Gilroy Veterans Memorial Building, 74. W. Sixth St. A full loaf is $12, half a loaf is $8. Two-day notice for 10 or more. Pre-orders at eventbrite.com or on-site from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All forms of payment will be accepted. Pickup will be inside the hall, plus, the bar will be open.
