Line Dancing

Grief Counseling

Parkinson’s Support Group

Lions Club Morgan Hill
• The Lions Club meets at Mama Mia’s, 275 E. Dunne Ave., at 7 p.m. They focus on programs and services for the blind and visually impaired, and other programs. Details: (408) 723-1018.

Bingo
• At the Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center, 17000 Monterey Road. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., games start at 6:30 p.m.

Meditation, Yoga Sutra Study
• Join others for meditation and inspiration from the Yoga Sutras, a foundational yoga and meditation text, from 1 to 2 p.m., 8347 Church St. New and experienced students welcome. Wind Symphony Meets

Embroiderers Guild of America
• The Gavilan Hills Chapter seeks new members. They meet at 10 a.m. at the Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center, 17000 Monterey Road. Proof of vaccination is required. Masks required indoors. Learn About Scouts

Women in Touch ll

Running Group, Club Run

Morning Bike Ride
• Weekly co-ed, no-drop ride averaging 25 miles. Meet at Bike Therapy, 17540 Depot St. at 7:30 a.m. in Morgan Hill. Road bike and drop handlebars required.

Farmers’ Market
• The Morgan Hill Farmers’ Market unites farmers, food producers and consumers from Morgan Hill, Gilroy, and Hollister from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Third and Depot streets. A family-friendly Kids Craft is included with fun projects to delight all ages. Parking is available at the Caltrain depot, via Butterfield Boulevard.

Tour Morgan Hill Museum
• The Morgan Hill Museum and Hiram Morgan Hill House are open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with docents giving tours. Learn about the city’s history and see some new additions. The Villa Mira Monte grounds are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Visitors can enjoy the Centennial History Trail and the rose garden at leisure.

Gilroy Ukulele Jam
• Meets at 8:30 a.m. at Cafe 152 Bread Co., 60 4th St., corner of 4th & Eigleberry streets, Gilroy. All levels of players welcome. Play and sing and have fun. Don’t be shy and don’t wait.

Gilroy Museum
• The Gilroy Museum has added hours and is now open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Second Saturday

Downtown Walking Tours
• Enjoy a free historic tour of downtown hosted by the Morgan Hill Historical Society from 10 a.m. to noon. Meet at the Morgan Hill Parking Garage (3rd Street off Monterey Road). No reservations required. Learn more: www.morganhillhistoricalsociety.org.

Daughters of the Amer. Revolution
• Members from Hollister, Gilroy, San Juan Bautista and Morgan Hill meet at 10 a.m. (through May). Book Sale
• The Friends of Gilroy Library will hold a book sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., 350 W. Sixth St. The Isabel Jewell Book Store hours are 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday; 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday.

July 13

Nashville Songwriters
• The Gilroy Garlic Festival Association brings back the Nashville Songwriters Sponsored by KRTY.com concert at Clos LaChance Winery in San Martin. Doors open at 6 p.m., at the winery, 1 Hummingbird Lane, in San Martin (clos.com). Tickets are $75 per person and will go on sale June 1, at www.gilroygarlicfestivalassociation.com. The $75 ticket includes a wine glass, glass of wine and garlic swag. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Gilroy Garlic Festival Association. The concert features award-winning Nashville songwriters Eric Paslay, Tyler Reeve, Chase McGill, and Chris LeCorte. All seating is first-come first-served. Seating is limited so guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or a blanket. The event is age 21 and older. No outside alcohol allowed, including previously purchased Clos LaChance wines. Food will be available for purchase at the event, but outside food/picnic is also allowed, including sealed water bottles. Sponsorships are available at the $500 level, which includes four tickets, four glasses, four glasses of wine, garlic swag, meet and greet, and social media recognition.

July 26

San Martin Horsemen
• The San Martin Horsemen’s Association meets from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Longhouse Restaurant in Gilroy. Arrive at 6 p.m. to order dinner on your own before the meeting begins. Details: www.smhorse.org.

Sept. 23 & 24

Quilt Show
• Piece by Piece Quilters of Morgan Hill will have a quilt show (formerly held by South Valley Quilt Association) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the United Methodist Church. The theme is Through the Needle’s Eye. Entry forms are available at piecebypiecequilters.com. Admission is free.
