Come to Christmas Hill Park – Ranch Side 7049 Miller Ave Gilroy Saturday October 20th from noon to 3pm. Free pumpkin to each child to paint, games, 4H and FFA information booths, free children’s books to the first 50 children under five years of age, photo opportunities, and much more! Learn how Miller Red Barn is being transformed to an agricultural/cultural museum! Lots of family fun!
Celebrate a healthy, fun lifestyle with exhibitors promoting community health and wellness. Halloween Costume Contest begins at 8:30am. Fun run begins at 9:00am (run, walk, bike, strollers, and pets on leash welcome). Desired shirt size may not be available if registration is received after 10/17/18. Medals awarded to all participants. Proceeds benefit the City of Gilroy Youth Scholarship Fund.
Grab your black and white attire, add your best bling and join us for “Black, White & Bling!” Community Solutions’ 7th Annual Gala. You don’t want to miss this elegant evening complete with a champagne reception, gourmet dinner with wine, live and silent auctions, late-night dancing to the sounds of Mile Pruitt, and more. Proceeds from the event support services for local children, youth and families affected by abuse, violence and mental health issues.
Fill a grocery bag with great books for only $8! ( $5 for members of the Friends of the Gilroy Library) proceeds support the free classes and events at the Gilroy branch library.
We also have colorful book bags with our logo which can be purchased for just $2!
This will be the third film in a series on food and farming sponsored by the Gilroy Library. EDIBLE CITY explores the unique perspective of a variety of characters who are challenging the paradigm of our broken food system. The film records their transformative work in growing local food systems and economies.
Film starts at 6:30pm with discussion after. End time will be 8:30pm.
Cost: Free
Place: upstairs in the Gilroy Library in the large Community Meeting Room.

On Sunday, December 9 at 5:30 P.M., Music at Advent will collaborate with students and faculty from Valley Christian School to present LUX: The Dawn From on High. The sanctuary will resound with beautiful music from over 100 singers and a 40-piece orchestra. This will be a perfect opportunity to discover more about light in all its many meanings. All are invited!
The Morgan Hill Wind Symphony winter concert is finally here!
Please join us for a evening concert shining a light on the musical legacy of Leroy Anderson. We have prepared a delightful selection of his music. From works made popular by the Boston Pops, to pieces reminiscent of Christmas and the joys of winter, there’s something for everyone.
There will be one intermission and complimentary refreshments.
As always, our concerts are open to the entire community, and free to attend (no tickets required).
